Students arrive at The Other Side Academy with nothing but gratitude for the few outfits we provide. This year, our more seasoned students will create a fun, sober, family-like Christmas experience for their 100+ peers. For many, this will be their first holiday filled with peace and meaningful connections.
Friends and Family of The Other Side Academy,
I first want to start off by saying thank you all for your continued support over the years. Our family-like holiday celebration would not be possible without the help of all of you. With that being said, it is that wonderful time of year again!
Please join us in spreading some holiday magic and making this Christmas an extra special one for the remarkable students at The Other Side Academy! Many of our students have never felt the joy of the holiday season. With your help, we can be the "Angels" that bring a family-like Christmas they'll always remember—a Christmas filled with warmth and hope. Donating to this year's Angel Tree reassures our students that they are valued, supported, and loved. Recognizing that others believe in them and their efforts boost their belief in themselves.
On average, we spend approximately $250 per student. This provides each student with two new outfits—one dressy and one casual. Many of our students show up to TOSA with nothing, so something like a new outfit under the tree is an experience they've never had before. Would love for you to consider sponsoring a student this year... (or two!:).
